My name is Balashova Liudmila, I am the founder and owner of the cattery RU*Milamos, who specializes in breeding a noble and unusually beautiful breed of cats — Sacred Birman, whose origin is shrouded in legends and secrets.

A little bit of our history

It all started with the exhibition. In the early 90's we lived in Argentina and once the whole family got to an exhibition of cats. My husband froze at a small cage, from which a blue-eyed, fluffy miracle with a dark nose was looking at us. The only thing that my husband could say at that moment: «That's what I would buy.» But, unfortunately, the cat was not for sale…

We met his owner, who told us that the cat of the breed Sagrado de Birmania, he is 8 months old and recently he flew from Europe. She lamented that in Argentina there are very few cats of this breed, the kittens will not be soon and a line of buyers has already formed, although they are expensive. The rest of the day was spent at the exhibition, watching the refereeing of the Birman, which it was impossible to part with.

So we fell in love with one of the ancestors of this wonderful breed in Argentina. Sagrado de Birmania, Sacred Birman — it was a completely new and unknown breed of cats. The Internet was not yet available and I had to independently search for all available information about this interesting breed.

Later, upon returning to Russia, the search continued, but not at one exhibition we never met the cats of the Sacred Birman breed. I have a collection of books and magazines about breeds from different countries.

Years passed, our domestic Siberian cat Murka was 15 years old already. Searches for the cat Sacred Birman — necessarily seal-point and show — dragged on…

Later, I realized how wrong I was — I just saw the Sacred Birman of other colors only in the picture.

In 2005 I was lucky to get acquainted with Tatiana Chulochnikova, the owner of the cattery of the cats of the breed Sacred Birman — BonBon Azur*RU.

And on September 21, 2005 my first cat appeared — according to the passport of BonBon Azur Arosa * RU SBI g, and Asya, a blue- cream tortie.

Asi's parents were IC Greegory SBI a 21 and EC Tortie-Taiga von Achor*CH SBI g.

Tatiana brought me to the club, I began to participate with her in exhibitions. We were with Asya at international FIFe exhibitions in Russia, Latvia, Belarus, Estonia. But, unfortunately, the cat died early, leaving no offspring. By the time I was growing a cat EC Bouton d'or du Grand Baronnet SBI e 21, (at home just Baton) with cream tabby marks, which flew to me in 2006 from the French cattery Du Grand Baronnet. He helped me survive her loss.

In 2008, he received the highest title in the system FIFe — Euro champion.

I continued to participate in international FIFe exhibitions, gained experience, got acquainted with breeders in different countries, studied at the courses of different felinological systems (instructor-felinolog ), attended seminars on genetics, on the breed Sacred Birman and many other seminars on diseases, feeding, breeding Cats. My dream is just to have a kitten at home, be sure to force the point and show, after talking with Tatiana and other breeders at exhibitions has become my hobby for many years.

And the search for the kitten continued…

From the Faerie Kiss Italian cattery in 2007, IC Faerie Kiss Nightingale, DM SBI b (at home just Nyusya), a chocolate point and IC Faerie Kiss Nenya SBI j (at home just Lala)  a lilac-cream tortie with tabby marks, and in 2008 from French cattery cat IC Dinah du Grand Baronnet SBI f (at home just Dina). They became the founders of the cattery. I am very grateful to Arlette Defauchy, Roberta Bianchi to the breeders of my first cats. In 2008 I registered RU*Milamos cattery in Federation Internationale Feline (FIFe). In the same year the first litter was born in the cattery — A.

For breeding, cats were used from France, Sweden,  Germany, Netherland, Russian catteries EC Bouton d'or du Grand Baronnet SBI e 21, EC Backkara's Da Capo SBI a, CH Cooper v.d. Simona's SBI n, IC Rawalpindi's Damokles JR. SBI b, SC Ricardo Blue von Dinau SBI a, GIC Bonbon Azur Mon Amur SBI n 21, IC Tarnis Agent Cortez SBI a, Madison's Love Simba SBI n, NW&CH Joy du mas la Fontaine SBI n, as well as cats of their own breeding.

In the cattery, much attention is paid to health. Everyone regularly undergoes a veterinary examination. Mandatory annual vaccinations are made, once a quarter, treatment from worms and parasites recommended for the breed by the FIFe and club rules tests (blood group, viral immunodeficiency, leukemia, infectious peritonitis, polycystosis, ultrasonic encephalography).

Only absolutely healthy cats  are used in breeding. Their ancestors constantly participated in exhibitions and are the best representatives of the breed.

Graduates of the cattery have a successful exhibition career:

In 2009 two of my kittens RU*Milamos Albert SBI n and RU*Milamos Caterina SBI b received a lifetime title JUNIOR WINNER (Winner among the young)!!!

At the World Cat Show FIFe in Switzerland in 2009, GIC RU*Milamos Albert, JW SBI n received BIV, Nomination FIFe Worldwinner 2009.

In 2010, the first of the graduates of the cattery SC RU*Milamos Arnold SBIс, the owner of which Klaudia Soots (Estonia), received the highest title in the system FIFe — SC Suprem Champion.

In 2011, the second of the graduates of the cattery SC RU*Milamos Albert, JW, DVM SBI n, owner of which Balashova Liudmila, received the highest title in the system FIFe — SC Suprem Champion.

In 2012 RU*Milamos Klara SBI b received a lifetime title Winner among the young!!! This is the third graduate of RU*Milamos cattery received the title JUNIOR WINNER!!!

In 2013 RU * Milamos Patrick SBI a received a lifetime title Winner among the young!!! This is the fourth graduate RU*Milamos cattery received the title JUNIOR WINNER!!!

At the World Cat Show FIFe in Denmark in 2013 GIC RU*Milamos Felicia SBI n received BIV, Nomination FIFe Worldwinner 2013.

In 2013 the third of the graduates of the cattery SC RU*Milamos Felicia SBI n, owner of which Balashova Liudmila, received the highest title in the system FIFe — SC Suprem Champion.

B 2013 IC RU*Milamos Patrick, JW SBI a received a lifetime title National Winner!!!

In 2014 Joy du mas la Fontaine SBI n received a lifetime title Winner among the young!!! This is the fifth representative of RU*Milamos cattery received the title JUNIOR WINNER!!!

At the FIFe World Cat Show in the Czech Republic in 2014, Joy du mas la Fontaine SBI n received BIV and Nomination FIFe Worldwinner 2014.

In 2014 CH Joy du mas la Fontaine, JW SBI n received the lifetime title National Winner!!!

In 2015 IC RU*Milamos Bobby SBI a, whose owner Elena Vasilevskaya (Ukraine) received a lifetime title National Winner!!!

In 2016 RU*Milamos Lili SBI n received a lifetime title Winner among the young!!! This is the sixth representative of RU*Milamos cattery received the title JUNIOR WINNER!!!

In 2016 the fourth of the graduates of cattery NW SC RU*Milamos Patrick, JW SBI a, proprietress Balashova Liudmila, received the highest title in the system FIFe-SC Suprem Champion.

B 2017 GIC RU*Milamos Serafima SBI b received a lifetime title National Winner!!!

And also the alumni of the cattery received 8 titles of the Grand International Champion, 12 titles of the International Champion, 20 titles of the Champion/Premier.
